My Doubt Monster

Something I realized this week is that one of the biggest things I struggle with are doubts.
Every single week that we are given an animation at school, before I start it I think, 'Oh boy, am I going to be able to do this?'
All the time things running through my head are:
'Will I meet up to expectations?'
'Can I do this job?'
'Is this even good enough?'
And there always seems to be this resounding echo of:
'No. No. No'

I discovered I pretty much have a Doubt Monster.
And mine at the moment is looking preeeeetty obese and villainous - because I have been massively overfeeding him recently.
So the decision has been made.
He is going on a diet.

  2. HAHAHHA! I love this! It helps to give a face to it, then it's easier to overcome!

  4. Haha, terrific monster! What a devious expression on his face. Of course we all have doubts and maybe always will, so just do the best you can and try to make friends with this monster bit by bit. ;)

  5. It was so good to come across this. :) I was letting my "Doubt Monster" look a little too scary, I think. This one is looks just sinister enough, but just harmless enough too.
